馬尼拉的尼諾伊艾奎諾國際機場(Ninoy Aquino International Airport)戒備森嚴,無論進出機場大門人和行李都要過安檢,各個角落也都有荷槍的警衛在值班。

 

下了AirAsia的晚班飛機,領好行李、完成所有手續,再搭上Grab Taxi到市區的飯店入住,已經將近半夜四點。

 

在菲工作的台灣朋友帶我們去24小時營業的Jollibee吃宵夜,也是我第一次吃到這間曾在1980年代短暫進駐台灣,全球有四千多家分店的菲律賓速食傳奇。

 

除了常見的漢堡、薯條,Jollibee還有提供義大利麵,醬汁是當地喜愛的酸甜調味,非常特別,而最好吃的品項則非炸雞莫屬,薄皮、多汁,不容錯過。

We arrived at Manila after midnight, and finally got to the hotel room at 4 a.m. Our friend who works in the city took us to Jollibee for midnight snack.

 

It was my first time trying this legendary fast food chain that beats McDonald's in the Philippines, and has around 4,000 stores worldwide.

 

Fried chicken is my favorite at Jollibee, it’s crispy and juicy. Apart from regular burgers and fries, some uncommon dishes are sold such as rice, spaghetti and spring rolls.
